The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a Project Manager – Collections Storage, to take responsibility for the development and delivery of a programme of museum, library and archive collections moves from locations in and around Stratford-upon-Avon, across all stages of project lifecycle from project initiation through to closure.

Working with the Head of Business Change and Delivery on a full-time fixed term 18 month contract, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of collections management and care are maintained. You will be involved in managing budgets and resources to ensure targets are met.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience of collections management with up-to-date knowledge of collections care and management standards. You will have experience of planning and implementing large-scale collections storage and move projects with a firm understanding of collections management databases. You will be a qualified project manager with an excellent understanding of health and safety, security, and incident management. You will be able to identify creative, cost-effective solutions to logistical challenges. You will have significant interpersonal and consultative skills being able to communicate, negotiate and influence both internally and externally.
