This is an exciting time of innovation at The National Holocaust Centre & Museum. We are expanding our reach – physically, digitally, and always immersively. We have lots to plan and create. New online, physical, and touring exhibitions. New facilities and tech-enabled experiences. New curatorial and educational projects. New partnerships nationally and internationally. To deliver all this, we need great people.
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced Schools Outreach Educator to expand our work with schools and develop innovative new products and learning experiences for primary and secondary schools.
Your experience in implementing programs of learning along with working creatively with students will be instrumental in driving the future success of the Outreach programme. You will be a successful educator with a strong sense of integrity and a values-driven approach to education. You will have a proven record of demonstrating the impact of your teaching and will be a strong team player with a passion for the mission of the National Holocaust Centre and Museum.
The Outreach Educator will report directly to the Director of Learning and will work closely with the Senior Educator who leads on outreach. The main responsibility of the role will be to deliver the Outreach programme in a wide range of schools, and to work with the Schools’ Relationship Manager to widen awareness of the outreach offer to new schools.
With clearly developed plans for future on-site and off-site development, this position is an outstanding opportunity for a proven educator to play a key role in a unique institution, supported by a strong and successful team.
