Visitor Experience Assistants – Bow Street Police Museum

We are currently recruiting for two Visitor Experience Assistants to join our small team in the heart of Covent Garden. This is a job share opportunity and as such may be suitable for those studying, already working part-time, or for those looking to gain experience in the museum sector.
As a Visitor Experience Assistant, your work would support the museum’s day-to-day operations; welcoming and engaging visitors, checking tickets, managing enquiries, processing admissions and retail sales, and maintaining operational procedures including all health and safety and security requirements.
The Museum is currently open 3 days a week, Fri- Sun. We require one VEA in the job share to cover each these days from 10:30 to 16:30, agreed in advance on a rota-based system. Some evenings may also be required.
Salary: Hourly pay. London Living Wage
Term: 3-month contract
Hours: Friday to Sunday, 10.30 – 16.30 in job share
Details: Up to 18 hours/week. Some evenings are also required to cover occasional events
