We are seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing, and motivated Visitor Experience Manager, who will be responsible for managing and delivering an outstanding visitor experience, helping us provide a welcoming, engaging, and positive experience for all our visitors.
Your role will be to lead and inspire the visitor experience team, to ensure the smooth, efficient running of the day-to-day operation including effective delivery of site duty management, excellent building presentation standards, visitor flow, gallery invigilation cover and support for the delivery of events.
You will be proactive in maximising volunteer involvement across all areas of visitor experience, ensuring they feel fully integrated into the team, supported, and appreciated.
The Visitor Experience Manager is responsible for visitor facing risk assessments, evacuation planning, ensuring our Health and Safety policy and procedures are adhered to by the team. It is therefore essential that you have previous experience in a visitor-facing role at management level in a similar environment, with a passion for exceeding visitors’ expectations and a willingness to go the extra mile. It is essential that you have experience of leading and inspiring a team, with the ability to manage a fluctuating and diverse workload.
A practical working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, including the preparation of risk assessments for a visitor focused environment, along with delivery of emergency procedures, is also essential.
