We are seeking a Visitor Experience Manager, who will be responsible for managing and delivering an outstanding visitor experience across the Museum.
You will lead and inspire the Visitor Experience team establishing high standards in visitor experience, audience engagement, operational management, and commerciality. This will include assisting with the delivery of our ongoing programme of activities and events.
You will also have responsibility for visitor facing risk assessments, evacuation planning, visitor flow, gallery invigilation, ensuring our Health & Safety policy and procedures are adhered to by the team.
It is therefore essential that you have previous experience in a visitor-facing role at management or supervisory level in a similar environment, with a passion for exceeding visitor expectations and a willingness to go the extra mile. It is essential that you have experience of leading and inspiring a team, with the ability to manage a fluctuating and diverse workload.
Practical working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including the preparation of risk assessments for a visitor focused environment, along with delivery of emergency procedures.

This is a full time role (35 hours), but part-time will be considered minimum 4 days per week (28 hours). Weekend cover required.
