Visitor Services Manager – Amberley Museum

Could you take the lead in helping us provide a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for our visitors?

Amberley Museum is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Visitor Services Manager.  This role is at the heart of the Museum, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.  This is a great opportunity to get fully involved in all that this interesting and varied open air site has to offer. For the successful candidate, there will be opportunities to build on our successful event programme and contribute to developing the visitor offer for the future.

A key part of the role is to act as Duty Manager on the days the Museum is open to the public (Wednesday-Sunday), overseeing both the commercial and health and safety aspects of Museum activity.

This role would suit someone who is organised, a good communicator, enthusiastic about providing an excellent visitor experience, and who likes to get involved in a wide range of activity.
