Visitor Services & Volunteering Officer – Avon Valley Railway

This new role will lead and develop the visitor experience at the Avon Valley Railway. You’ll help us tell our story and enhance the experience we give our customers. You’ll also help us drive up customer service standards across the organisation.

You’ll ensure volunteering remains at the heart of what we do, manage the volunteer welcome throughout the organisation and lead the customer-facing teams. You’ll develop our education offer and support the organisation and delivery of our event programme and marketing activity.

You’ll need to be comfortable working a significant proportion of weekend days as that’s when we run our trains and are at our busiest. But in return we’ll offer you a unique working environment and the chance to make a difference.
