Volunteer Manager – Amberley Museum

Amberley Museum is seeking to appoint a Volunteer Manager for 4 days a week to take the lead on the day-to-day running of the volunteer programme and the development of our Volunteer Strategy.

Volunteers are at the heart of Amberley Museum and this role will be core to the ongoing development of both the Museum’s visitor experience and its involvement with the local community. This is an exciting opportunity to support and develop our team of over 300 dedicated and skilled volunteers within a working museum set in the South Downs.

The successful candidate will be approachable, flexible and good at dealing with people.  Experience in working with volunteers in a heritage setting will also be an advantage.
