Volunteer Sandford Award Assessor – Heritage Education Trust

Are you passionate about learning in museums, heritage sites and collections? Do you enjoy celebrating high quality learning programmes for all audiences? Then you might be one of the next Sandford Award Assessors.
The volunteer Sandford Award Assessors are the life blood of the Heritage Education Trust and play a key role in supporting the work that we do. Our assessors’ panel is made up of museum educators and heritage and educational consultants bringing together a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise to help the Trust fulfil its charitable aims and objectives through the annual Sandford Awards.
Time commitment is approximately a minimum of 5 days per year. On average, an Assessor might spend approx. 3 days per applicant of the award plus 2 days per year with training/assessor panel.
