This interactive training session will train you on sexual harassment in the workplace and how this can be prevented, with the opportunity for participation and questions. This will not be a ‘tick-box’ exercise but will upskill line managers with everything they need to know to ensure your business, and colleagues, are protected.
The law on sexual harassment has changed. As you may be aware, from 26 October 2024, the law was amended to include that every employer, big and small, has a legal duty to actively prevent sexual harassment at work.
Policies alone no longer cut the mustard – even if an employer has put them on the intranet and given employees access to them. Training is required to bring the business’s position to ‘life’. But a brief box-ticking training session, which does not adequately address issues that are known to exist in the workplace, won’t be sufficient. Failure to do this will leave businesses liable for hefty financial penalties if a claim is made. This session will help you understand what is required to protect your museum, staff and volunteers.
