Harwell Restoration provides services to support museums after damage, including fire, water, mould and pest damage, as well as collections care services.
Operating since 1979, Harwell Restoration has a wealth of experience in managing response to major restoration projects after fire and flood damage. Over 1,100 institutions in the heritage sector are registered as Priority Users of Harwell Restoration for preferential urgent response in the event of damage to their collections.
Drawing on the practical experience of responding to damage, Harwell also provides award-winning training in emergency response planning. Additionally, we can also support institutions in major collections care projects, including mould remediation, pest management, cleaning, quarantining and conservation treatment, as well as digitisation.
