Whisper provides automatic interactive visitor guides on visitors’ mobile phones.
You can create and upload your own content. Whisper works on visitors’ phones even where no data connection is available.

Whisper is a service for mobile phones that delivers information to visitors exactly when they need it. It detects precisely where a visitor is standing and automatically delivers the relevant content for that location to their phone. It doesn’t even need a data connection from the phone to work.
The solution provides enriched information and increases visitor engagement, helps declutter spaces by reducing signage and helps reduce waiting around exhibit information boards.
Specialists and curators within your organisation can create and upload their own information, images, audio and video to produce an attractive and detailed visitor guide directly on the visitor’s phone.
Whisper uses GPS location and low-cost Bluetooth beacons to identify exactly where a visitor is and automatically deliver the appropriate content to the user. This can be delivered in the user’s own language where appropriate.
Whisper is completely anonymous; no user data is captured.
The team here at Whisper want to support not-for-profit organisations (NFPOs) as much as possible. If your organisation would benefit from using Whisper, please get in touch.
Exclusively for AIM members
The Whisper solution is free to AIM members.
Whisper is designed to be self-service – you can set it all up yourself. Whisper Beacons (for precise location identification indoors) carry a small cost.
