Chair
After eight years as Chair of the Charity, John Carrington will be stepping down next year. The Trustees are looking for a successor who would join the Trustee board as Vice Chair with a view to succeeding John at the next AGM in June 2025. The role is voluntary.
The Trust is responsible for running and maintaining the Grade I listed Mill, currently the only Tide Mill in the UK still making flour. It is open to the public daily from 1 April to 31 October as a museum and has an extensive learning programme for schools and other student groups.

Treasurer
The overall role of the Treasurer is to maintain an overview of the Charity’s affairs, safeguarding its financial viability and ensuring that proper financial records and procedures are maintained.
The Treasurer is normally a Trustee but that is not essential. Day to day bookkeeping is already covered. The role is a voluntary one.
Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: Estimated about 4-5 Lead Team Meetings, 4-5 Trustee meetings, and more as required.
Daytime or evening meetings: Trustee Meetings and Lead Team meetings tend to be evening as requested by the Chair. Other ad-hoc meetings could vary
