This two part online course is ideal for anyone working in the museum sector with little or no fundraising experience, who is keen to learn how to improve fundraising at their museum.
Hosted by fundraising expert and founder of Development Partners, Judy Niner, the sessions will be interactive, giving you the chance to network with and learn from others in a similar situation. Judy is the author of AIM’s Fundraising Success Guide.
What to expect
Session 1 will cover how to get fit to fundraise:
- How ready to fundraise are you? Are you ready to ask for funds; are people ready to give to you; what do you need to have in place before you ask.
- Writing your case for support
- Your fundraising strategy.
Session 2 will cover:
- Sources of funding
- Stewardship
- Your fundraising plan.

The course is delivered in two parts – part 1 on Tuesday 3 November and part 2 on Tuesday 10 November. Both sessions will run from 4pm – 6pm and will take place on Zoom.
