Exclusively for Welsh museums – Conquering the fear: Building confidence to ask for donations.
Evidence shows donation boxes are far more effective if visitors are directly approached to make a donation. This free online workshop aims to give museum staff and volunteers the confidence to ask visitors for donations by building on the natural conversations they have during their visit. It is designed for anyone in a visitor-facing role, or those with responsibility for visitor services, volunteer management or fundraising.
Facilitated by Judy Niner, Partner at Development Partners. With thanks to funding from the Welsh Government.
Who should attend?
This online workshop is exclusively for museums in Wales, but you don’t have to be an AIM member to attend. Ideal for those with responsibility for requesting donations from visitors, working in visitor services, volunteer management or fundraising.
It would also be great training for museums who received a contactless donation box grant from AIM.
Free to attend.
