AIM Pilgrim Trust Collection Care Audit – Garden City Collection

£1,155.40

The Collections Audit allowed me to familiarise myself with conditions, problems etc and to prioritise actions for the future when working on re-accreditation.

The key factor in the success of the audit was the expertise, dedication and clear communication provided by our conservator, Lorraine Finch. Her knowledge and experience, pragmatism and understanding of our situation were all brilliant. We have kept in touch and Lorraine gave some follow-up mould training/removal.

The benefits to the museum of the audit, as it forges a new path in recovery post-pandemic, has been a vital reset and refresh, and a straightforward and simple approach to prioritising future actions, delivered with friendly and helpful expertise.
