Job Title: Business Manager / Volunteer Manager / Communications Manager

St Seraphim’s Trust in Norfolk is recruiting three new Trustees – Business Manager, Volunteer Manager and Communications Manager.

  • Business management – focusing on income creation in keeping with the Trusts objectives, (i.e. iconography classes / workshops) and events management (i.e. Garden Party / Heritage talks)
  • Volunteer Management – to help ensure the security of the Trust as more volunteers with a line-manager would mean keeping the rooms and garden open that are currently closed at certain times of the week (needs to be local to Norfolk).
  • Communications – to help develop and engage with the Friends of St Seraphim’s group.

Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 

The Trustee Board meets four times a year.  Meetings are held on site, but trustees are able to join remotely if necessary.  In addition to attending these meetings, Trustees will undertake work to meet the specific requirements of their role, as well as participating in other tasks where appropriate.  The time commitment is flexible to meet the needs of the individual and the role.  Trustees are normally expected to serve a minimum of three years on the Board, where possible.         

Daytime or evening meetings:  Daytime, usually over lunchtime.
