Trustee vacancy – Amberley Museum

We are looking to strengthen and widen our Board membership and would like to hear from individuals with a wide range of experience and perspectives.

Diversity is important to us and minority groups are currently underrepresented on the Board, so we would encourage applications from a broad spectrum of people. We are looking for Trustees with a passion for heritage and the ability to think strategically, assess opportunities and manage risk, provide oversight of staff and volunteers, and with experience in any of the public, private, or voluntary sectors.

We would particularly welcome applications from people with knowledge of the following areas:

  • Communications, Marketing and Media Relations
  • Human Resource Management
  • Education and Learning
  • Engineering
  • Event Management.

Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: up to 6 meetings a year plus potential involvement in Committee work and special projects

Daytime or evening meetings: evening
