Trustee vacancy – Axminster Heritage Centre

Axminster Heritage Centre is seeking a new treasurer.

The role will involve supervising our bookkeeper, reviewing monthly management accounts, budget and updated estimates and producing reports for the Executive Committee’s and Trustees’ meetings. It will also involve acting as a counter signatory to the bank accounts and investments, liaising with the Centre Manager and our independent examiners and agreeing annual accounts prepared by them.

Applicants should have an accountancy qualification and/or the relevant experience.

Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 4 meetings per year and around 5 hours per month.

Daytime or evening meetings: Evening but possibility of hybrid to accommodate the right candidate.
