Trustee vacancy – Charles Dickens Museum
The Charles Dickens Museum is seeking three people to join its non-executive Board in 2023. At this time, we are looking for skills and experience in a number of areas, including: commercial income generation (retail, hospitality, licensing); fundraising (including philanthropy and donor development, sponsorship, and partnerships); museum and collections management; and learning and public engagement.
We recognise the value of diversity and are keen to reflect more closely the wide range of people who visit the Museum. We want to broaden the diversity of our Board and welcome candidates who can contribute greater diversity of representation and thinking, including Black and Asian people, LGBT+ people, people with disabilities, and those with experience of socio-economic disadvantage. We also wish to encourage applications from people who live or work in the neighbourhood of the Museum (Bloomsbury, Holborn, King’s Cross / St Pancras).
