Trustee vacancy – Compton Verney Collection Settlement

Compton Verney Collection Settlement is seeking new trustees with experience in contemporary art, creative practice or collections research.  CVCS is responsible for ensuring the care and safety of the collections on display at Compton Verney and the acquisition of new works and oversight of loans from the collections. Compton Verney was established to make art, culture and the landscape accessible to all people. The settlement works closely with its sister charity Compton Verney House Trust which oversees everything involved in the strategic development and operations of the house and grounds, including the public programme, enterprises and audience development.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to use their professional skills and experience in a rewarding role. We welcome applications from a broad range of people to ensure that all voices are heard and represented. Previous trust experience is not necessary.

Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 4 meetings per year.  Usually 3 in London and 1 at Compton Verney
