Trustee vacancy – Sherborne Museum

Sherborne Museum in Dorset is seeking a Treasurer Trustee.
The role of the Treasurer is to maintain an oversight of our finances and ensure that the organisation remains financially resilient and compliant. Key responsibilities will be to report on our financial position at Board meetings and to make sure that funds are properly managed. They will also ensure that bookkeeping, record keeping, and budgeting are carried out effectively. The Treasurer will contribute to the strategic direction of the charity and help us formulate our vision for the future.
Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 6 meetings per year/1-3 hours per week
Daytime or evening meetings: Evening
