Could YOU be a new TEG Trustee?
We’re on the hunt for new Trustees and Advisory Board members, and you could be just the person we’re looking for to join TEG’s dynamic board!
Are you passionate about exhibition-making and partnership working? Do you want to create diverse and inclusive opportunities nationally and internationally for people in the sector? Perhaps you have experience of digital, marketing, or financial strategies? Or perhaps are you are embarking on a career in the exhibitions sector and want to make a difference? If you want to help TEG to support the exhibitions sector to face current and future challenges this could be the opportunity for you.
Why join TEG’s board?
TEG is the only UK-wide membership body providing support for people working with temporary and touring exhibitions and has a growing programme of research, resources and professional development opportunities for its members and the wider sector. In 2023 TEG will become one of Arts Council England’s Investment Principles Support Organisations (IPSO) and will be increasing its activity and reach. New board members will oversee an exciting new phase of development, and help shape TEG’s strategy to support our members and the sector.
We want your unique perspective:
We welcome people at all stages of their careers and we are looking to expand our support of early career exhibitions professionals. Being a Trustee can be very rewarding and enjoyable offering an opportunity to serve the exhibitions community whilst learning new skills.
We are very interested in speaking to people who can offer us expertise and knowledge in the areas of sustainability, EDI ,and professional development, but expressions of interest in other areas are also very welcome. We can offer the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and gain valuable experience in governance, board membership, and reporting our activities to Arts Council England.

Number of meetings per annum/time commitment:
If you are enthusiastic and can commit around six days a year to attending 4 board meetings (online), joining one of TEG’s working groups, and participating in our annual sector event we would love to hear from you. In return we offer you the opportunity to work closely with experienced, friendly and supportive colleagues, to further develop your skills and career and to participate in key events and networks.
Daytime or evening meetings: Daytime.
