Trustee vacancy – Wessex Museums

The Wessex Museums Trust is seeking new trustees who hold strong connections to the region; a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion; and have a passion for art, culture and heritage. As a trustee you will play a vital role in ensuring that Wessex Museums fulfils its objectives and operates in accordance with our partnership charter.

The Trust is looking for trustees who can bring diverse voices and experiences to our board. We are also interested in individuals with experience and skills in the following areas:

• Income generation and fundraising
• Campaigning
• PR/Communications
• Digital

Through our equality, diversity, inclusion framework and action plan, Wessex Museums Trust is committed to ensuring that our organisation reflects the diversity of our region. We would particularly welcome applicants with lived experience from communities currently under-represented in our museums.

Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 6 days
