About the role

Staffordshire Archives & Heritage are looking for an enthusiastic person to support the delivery of our Staffordshire History Centre project. This is an exciting time for the Archives & Heritage Service which has been awarded a £3.9m National Lottery Heritage Fund grant to deliver the Staffordshire History Centre.

The Collections Interpretation Officer will work as part of the Archives & Heritage team to organise, research, create content for and deliver a series of exhibitions and associated activities for the exhibition programme at the Staffordshire History centre and across Staffordshire.

What you’ll bring

You will have A-level or equivalent in a relevant subject or 3 years’ relevant experience.

You will have experience, paid or voluntary, of working in museums or archives.  Experience of working with and supervising volunteers, and awareness of good practice in collections care is also required.
