Head of Collections (Coalbrookdale, including Library and Archives)

£30,000 – £32,000 per annum

Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust (IGMT) is seeking to recruit a Head of Collections to care for the Trust’s Designated Collection to the highest possible standards.

The ideal candidate will ensure exemplary levels of access to the collections for a wide range of audiences, and have specific curatorial responsibility for the Coalbrookdale Museum sites.  They will be able to demonstrate experience of collections management and care and the ability to share best practice in the context of inclusivity and relevance.

They will also have the ability to develop effective partnerships and work collaboratively to support their team in interpreting the collection for a public audience.
