The Ashmolean Museum is seeking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the Audience and Content Department as the Head of Informal Learning and Public Programmes. You will be working with the Informal Learning and Public Programmes Team – a fast-paced, creative team, responsible for the development and delivery of all programmes to families, young people and adults, both online and through the wider community.

The Head of Informal Learning and Public Programmes at the Ashmolean Museum is a fixed term cover. We are at the start of an exciting journey, rethinking our Public Programmes and we are seeking an imaginative, results-driven, change-maker and action-taker to help us. You will join a collaborative team of four senior managers in the newly formed Audience & Content Directorate that will support you to succeed. Alongside leading a small team, you will set up a Youth Collective with 16-24 years old. This is a full-time, fixed-term post for 1 year (part-time options will also be considered).
This job includes duties that will require a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check result.
