Applications are invited for an exciting new role as Project Coordinator at the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture in Berriew, Wales. Funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF), the ‘Heritage of Andrew Logan’ project aims to expand the understanding of Andrew Logan’s work for new and existing audiences by placing it in the context of social, political, and cultural change from the 1960s to the present day. Phase 1 of the project will involve cataloguing of existing artworks, development of Accreditation standard collections management procedures and background research into the context of Andrew Logan’s work.

The role:

The Project Coordinator role is part time (0.6 FTE) for 2 years, with the possibility for a 1-year extension should further funding be available.

The role will report to the Project Curator and the ALMoS Trustees Working Group. The Coordinator will supervise museum volunteers.

Key responsibilities:

You will assist with the successful delivery of ‘The Heritage of Andrew Logan’ project, including front-of-house management, answering enquiries, daily supervision of volunteers, assisting with collections care and digitisation of work, working alongside the Project Curator on research and conducting of oral history interviews.

About you:

You will have experience of front-of-house museum management and working with volunteers. An excellent team player, you will have good research and communication skills. Understanding of collections management procedures and excellent IT skills will be advantageous.
