Win an architect

The brief

After two years celebrating cultural projects in the North, Studio Wignall & Moore are launching a competition to seek out the most innovative client briefs and architectural proposals which enhance, showcase and celebrate culture outside the Capital.

This starts with you. Whether you’re a business in need of a new premises, the owner of a heritage asset in need of restoration or an arts organization looking to make a splash.

Studio Wignall & Moore is offering the chance to win a design concept worth up to £10,000. This will include a full site study, client workshop, planning investigation, design drawings and 3D visualisation of your project. In short, they will act as your advisors to develop your design and bring tangible detail to your plans.

Four runners up will also benefit from a site visit and design consultation, where you can bounce your ideas off the Studio Wignall & Moore team to help move your project closer to realisation. Briefs aligning with Studio Wignall & Moore’s expertise in art, craft and heritage will naturally stand out.

Entries will be judged by a jury of prominent industry voices who will select the winning brief from a shortlist of the five most exciting briefs. This year there is an exceptional panel of judges, including:

  • The Guardian’s Architecture and Design critic – Oliver Wainwright
  • Baroness Blake of Leeds – Judith Blake
  • Executive Director Pegasus Group – Chris Calvert
  • Director, England North, The National Lottery Heritage Fund – Helen Featherstone
