How Peer Mentoring can transform your museum and your leadership style: skills session and introduction to Charity Finance Group

The Peer Mentoring Programme is completely free for CFG members and therefore free to for AIM members. During this taster training session you will learn about the peer mentoring approach and build key mentoring skills.

Since its launch CFG has worked with over 100 charity finance professionals through the Peer Mentoring Scheme – their vision is to develop and empower individuals, promote a dynamic and flexible sector, diversify leadership and maximise effectiveness and impact at all levels of an organisation.

This session will be hosted by Zoe Bennet and Jessica Meddick, senior Membership and Insight Officers at CFG, who manage the mentoring scheme and will walk you through CFG’s other benefits including Special Interest Groups, events and training programme and resources.

After this session, you are invited to join the next cohort in September 2022 and you’ll be ready to make the most of your free membership with CFG and connect with its community of non-profits across the arts, heritage and cultural sectors.

Developed with esteemed Leadership Coach Nicki Deeson, this 3 part webinar series is designed for participants to meet with finance professionals in the sector to form authentic partnerships and to develop their mentoring skills. This programme uses the peer mentoring approach – where you can benefit from being a mentor and a mentee to unlock your potential and develop the mentoring skills that are so crucial to being a successful leader.

11am – 12.30pm Wednesday 1 June. Exclusively for AIM member museums, 10 places available.
